Dreams for Change is thrilled to announce that Jack Abbott has joined our Board of Directors.
Jack is a serial entrepreneur, connector, and community builder with more than three decades in digital innovation and immersive technology. He founded and scaled Interactivate, one of the early digital agencies, and created TEDxSanDiego as well as cross-border TEDx events in Tijuana to spotlight ideas that inspire change. Today, through his venture Made for Joy, Jack pioneers immersive experiences that foster well-being and human connection.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Jack has served on the boards of Sharp HealthCare Foundation, ECOLIFE Conservation, the San Diego Zoo, the Center for Reproduction of Endangered Species, and the Downtown San Diego Partnership.
Jack brings this wealth of leadership—at the intersection of innovation, community, and sustainability—to help Dreams for Change advance our mission: providing pathways to stability for neighbors facing homelessness and financial insecurity.
“Having known and worked alongside Jack for many years, I’ve seen firsthand his ability to spark new ideas and bring people together to create meaningful change. I am delighted to welcome him to the Dreams for Change Board and look forward to the impact he will help us achieve.” — Mary Gross, Board President
Meet Jack and our full Board at our 15 Years of Service Celebration on Saturday, October 11, 12–3 PM, at our Safe Parking site at 5605 Imperial Avenue, San Diego. We hope to see you there!
