Site Patrol Field Supervisor – Floater

Hourly Pay: $22.00

Dreams for Change (DfC) is seeking a qualified candidate to provide field supervision for the Site Patrol Team. The Site Patrol Field Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the Site Patrol team including training, supporting, and monitoring staff’s work performance. Qualified candidates must model an excellent example of the Site Patrol staff in regard to punctuality, excellent communication skills, understanding and performance of work responsibilities, providing relevant feedback on how the various sites are performing, problem solving, and working collaboratively with the various departments at Dreams for Change. The Field Supervisor reports directly to the Site Patrol Supervisor. This is a full-time job Saturday through Wednesday . The qualified candidate will have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff assigned shifts are filled and staff are completing job tasks as required.
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing support to team members.
  • Ensure entrance areas are properly monitored.
  • Inspect and report safety issues.
  • Ensure all exits and gates are property secured (during non-program operations).
  • Maintain open communication with staff, supervisors, site patrol team and other departments.
  • Respond to emergencies as needed during Overnight Hours (11:30pm to 8am).
  • Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.
  • Attend regular meetings with the site patrol team and meetings with Site Patrol supervisors to discuss and resolve issues that may arise.
  • Submit reports of daily site activities and incidents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 2 years experience in security or similar role
  2. Must have vehicle to travel between sites
  3. Good understanding of public safety and requirements of the site patrol position.
  4. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  5. Able to work independently and within a team environment
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  7. Trained in First Aid/CPR
  8. Effective writing, documentation, and computer skills
  9. Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
  10. High school diploma / GED certificate

Case Manager – Safe Sleeping

Hourly Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 plus benefits

The Case Manager is responsible for providing advocacy, information and referrals for participants within the DFC homeless service programs of either Safe Parking or Safe Sleeping. Multiple positions available with both first and second shift. Part-time positions are second shift.
