Program Manager

Program Manager
Dreams for Change is looking for an experienced program manager for the Safe Camp Program. The Program Manager’s primary responsibility is to administer DFC’s Safe Camp program. Under the leadership of the Director of Programs, this position will collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure alignment and integration of strategies, projects and programs for successful implementation and sustainable results.
Responsibilities
In general, that work will include the following:
● Plan, develop, and execute strategies that will expand/enhance training
● Identify public and private resources to supplement and/or support capacity building and continued process improvement of program and program sites
● Identify best practices for service delivery
● Develop metrics for the program’s strategies, programs, and operations
● Identify and expand network of community partners to develop client resources
● Oversight of project coordinator and program staff
● Ensures relationships with local community groups, businesses and suppliers are positive and responsive
● Contributes to social media strategies and creates store content for Facebook, newsletter, blogs and Twitter
● Works with the Director of Programs to create a budget for the program, and follows that budget
● Ensure the program is complying contracts, partnership agreements, and all other funding requirements, program goals, and stakeholder expectations
● Submit weekly and monthly reports to funder related to program progress and outcomes● Operate as a contact person for all program matters including program monitoring by funders, monitoring of sub-contractors, responding to specific program inquiries from outside partners, and working with the Finance department to monitor program budgets
Qualifications
This position requires knowledge of and demonstrated success in implementing homeless service programs. The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following skills and experiences:
● BA required; Master's Degree preferred (eg. Education, Social Services, or Nonprofit Management)
● Extensive experience (minimum 5-7 years) providing program oversight
● Knowledge of homeless service systems
● Demonstrated success bringing together key stakeholders from different groups and organizations
● Demonstrated understanding of related funding sources, contracts and reporting
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary of $68,000-$70,00 with benefits.
Lived Experience Ambassador

Lived Experience Ambassador
Dreams for Change (DFC) is seeking qualified candidates with lived experience to create client centered recreational, life skills, and wellness programming at the Safe Sleeping Program. The goal of the Lived Experience Ambassador is to build community through various activities while reducing stress or isolation. The Lived Experience Ambassador will be able to share their own experience including successes and challenges. The Lived Experience Ambassador will provide feedback received from clients and will work with the Safe Sleeping Program team to enhance services at the Safe Sleeping Program. This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
●Design client-centered recreational activities
● Connect with outside speakers as appropriate to lead various groups and activities
● Listen to client concerns and feedback
● Share own experience as a way to support clients
● Work with Program Manager and Case Managers to address client concerns
● Complete notes and reporting as needed
● Follow and enforce program policies
● Other duties as assigned

Case Manager

Case Manager
The Case Manager is responsible for providing advocacy, information, and referrals for participants within the Safe Sleeping Program. The Case Manager works in collaboration with referring outreach workers to support clients. This is a full- time position at 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
●Set up and break down program operations
●Conduct intake and assessments for new participants
●Develop service plan with a focus on financial stability and re-housing
●Provide individualized resources and referrals to community programs
●Assist clients in advocating for services for which they qualify
●Provide employment development support
●Work on a re-housing plan with client
●Develop partnerships with other community based organizations
●Outcomes and data management into HMIS for participant activities and accomplishments
●Follow-up with participants who have exited the program
●Assist in oversight of interns during program operations
●Meet for supervision bi-weekly
●Other duties as assigned

Volunteer Coordinator

Volunteer Coordinator
The Volunteer Coordinator (full-time) is responsible for developing, planning, organizing, implementing, and coordinating volunteers for Dreams for Change with a primary focus on the Volunteer Income Tax Program. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the program manager, and partnering agencies to ensure project goals are met and accomplished.
Responsibilities
●Outreach and recruit volunteers in support of Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) awareness, and Volunteers Income Assistance (VITA)
●Develop and execute a comprehensive volunteer recruitment strategy to support tax sites
●Intake and screening for potential volunteers to match volunteers with needs of the organizations providing VITA
●Implement volunteer recruitment marketing strategies including cultivating and organizing communities to result in increased volunteer leads
●Increase volunteers by identifying resources, building rapport and relationships, forming partnerships with community groups and businesses and faith-based institutions; and, making presentations to promote awareness of VITA Opportunities
●Support the development of a strong volunteer engagement and recognition strategy that mobilizes and thanks volunteers to increase adherence to their volunteer commitment
●Plan, coordinate, and lead outreach events to attract volunteers to serve in VITA sites
●Engage community, local and state organizations to partner in our volunteer recruitment efforts
●Provide year-round support and engagement for recruited volunteers
Skills
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:
● Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Human Services, or similar degree, or related field experience required. Equivalent experience in community organizing will be considered in lieu of education.
● Must have a minimum of 2 years in supervising volunteers or community organizing
● Spanish and English is preferred
● Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
● Demonstrates good judgment and has the ability to work independently and as a part of a t
● Be driven to succeed, organized, proactive, innovative, responsible, assertive, and flexible● Possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
● Must be able to work collaboratively with staff, program partners and volunteer
● Must have access to reliable personal transportation, and current valid driver's license
